The Emergency First Aid at Work course can be adapted to suit a particular audience and is ideal for lower risk businesses, in line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981.

Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work : 1 day course
Where an organisation’s risk assessment of First Aid needs identifies that there is a requirement for Emergency First Aid at Work practitioners, then this national Award in Emergency First Aid at Work satisfies the requirements of the regulatory body for First Aid – the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
All learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aider’s that can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner.

Certification
Summative practical assessment is ongoing by the instructor each day, there are no formal theory exams.
A Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment. No external assessors are required.

Course Numbers
A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 14 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment. A student cannot assume a responsibility in the workplace until they reach the age of 16, and then it is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that the student is suitable for that role. The certificate will expire as dated on the certificate, irrespective of age.

Location
We are able to deliver this course onsite at your location, subject to a pre-course assessment of your premises, reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling.
Local travel ( within 30 minutes = min 8 people per course).
Regional travel ( within 60 - 90 minutes = min 10 people per course).
Long distance travel ( Over 90 minutes = min 12 people per course).
